HAIDONG KUMDO

Achieving a first degree black belt in Haidong Gumdo and a second degree black belt in Kummooyeh, I'm currently working towards my third degree black belt...in Haidong Kumdo.  My understanding of this federation is that it's a sister organization with the World Kummooyeh Federation and much of the style I've seen has been interchangeable with Kummooyeh.  Practitioners wear traditional belts that hang rather than the velcro belt and patch system in Kummooyeh.  The uniforms are very similar and technically the forms are the same as in Haidong Gumdo but they also use the Kummooyeh forms and I've seen them practice Korean Traditional Archery (KTA).  Much to learn and more training to be had...
